Are all Academy classes welcome to attend?

Yes! Academy Reunion Weekends are open to each and every class year. We do celebrate milestone reunions at each reunion.

Is there a cost to attend Reunion Weekend? If so, why?

The per-registrant fee for Reunion Weekend is intended to help offset the expenses associated with receptions and meals, special activities, and administrative support for the weekend. Costs associated with personal transportation, lodging, off-campus gatherings, and meals beyond the campus meals should be planned outside of the Reunion Weekend registration fee.

Is there a discount if I only attend part of Reunion Weekend?

Unfortunately, we are unable to break apart Reunion Weekend's flat fee into a la carte costs. We have, however, planned a robust schedule of activities and are providing them at a reduced rate to make Reunion Weekend activities as affordable and accessible as possible.

How much is the registration fee? Who is required to pay it?

The late registration registration fee is in effect from October 2 - October 10. The late registration fee is $120 for adults, and $80 for young alumni. Youth tickets are $25 for children between the ages of 12-17. Children under the age of 12 are free. The registration fee covers all activities planned by the Office of Engagement and applies to both alumni and guests. Certain class-specific activities planned by class ambassadors may require an additional fee.

When do I need to register? Can I register onsite?

You can register here. Late registration pricing is now in effect until October 10. Please be sure to register by October 10, which is when online registration closes. You can also register by emailing engagement@interlochen.org.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

You will receive an immediate email confirmation of your registration at the address you provided. Please register with a current email address to ensure you receive your registration confirmation and future communications from us regarding your attendance.

What if I have to cancel? Is my registration refundable?

Please email engagement@interlochen.org to discuss a refund. All cancellations will be refunded the ticket cost less $5 (to cover processing fees). We cannot issue refunds after Thursday, October 10. Your registration fee can also be transferred into a donation to the Interlochen Annual Fund to help support young artists.

How do I find out who is attending the Reunion Weekend from my class?

Please be sure to click the “Who’s Coming” section below to see the list of those who have registered in advance. This list will be updated weekly, so please check back regularly.

What is the schedule of activities for Reunion Weekend?

See the “Schedule of Events” section above to view the schedule.

I’d like to purchase Interlochen gear. Will the Scholarshop be open during Reunion Weekend?

Yes, the Scholarshop will be open throughout Reunion Weekend. Detailed information about the hours of operation is included in the Reunion Weekend schedule. You can also shop the alumni collection online in advance of Reunion Weekend!

I’m driving to campus. Where can I find directions to Interlochen and a campus map?

Visit www.interlochen.org/interlochen-campus for directions, a campus map, and information about the Traverse City area.

I’m flying to Traverse City and need ground transportation. Help?

Rental cars and other ground transportation services are available at the Cherry Capital Airport (TVC). If you are staying on campus and require ground transportation to and from the Traverse City airport (TVC), please contact Interlochen's Stone Hotel at 231.276.7570 or by email at hotel@interlochen.org for rates and to schedule your transportation.

Where can I stay for Reunion Weekend?

If you need lodging during Reunion Weekend, please see the “Lodging” section above for information about our numerous on campus accommodations, as well as local off-campus options.

How do I enter campus? Where can I park on campus?

Please enter campus through the Main Entrance and check in at the Welcome Center and Campus Safety building. A safety officer will direct you to parking to check in at the Stone Hotel Desk for your on-campus lodging, or you may drive to the Mallory-Towsley Center for Arts Leadership (MTCAL) on the north end of campus for reunion registration. If driving to MTCAL, please park in lots S, T, or U. Visit the Maps and Directions page on our website for a downloadable map of campus and more information. Free parking is available on campus throughout the weekend.

Where do I check in once I arrive on campus?

All Reunion Weekend registrants are required to first check in at Mallory-Towsley Center for Arts Leadership (MTCAL) to obtain their name badge, weekend schedule, and special gifts. We ask that you wear your name badge at all times while on campus so you are easily identified as an alum for our students, staff and faculty.

What do I wear?

General attire for the weekend is casual. Please plan to bring (or purchase at the Scholarshop!) your Interlochen logo gear, along with casual clothing and comfortable walking shoes or boots. Be prepared to dress in layers. Remember, weather in northwest Lower Michigan can be unpredictable, so please pack for rain or shine. Sunscreen and bug spray may be needed, or a hat, gloves, and a warm coat. The temperature can range between 40-70 degrees.

What mobility services are available during Reunion Weekend?

Throughout the weekend, staff and volunteers may be available to provide golf cart shuttle service to those alumni and guests who need assistance getting around campus. Please be sure to mention any needs at registration or contact the Office of Engagement at 231.276.7630 or engagement@interlochen.org.

Are there campus policies I need to be aware of?

Interlochen maintains a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and weapon-free environment. For the safety of others, pets are not allowed in buildings on campus and must be leashed at all times. Additional safety concerns may be directed to our Campus Safety staff at 231.276.7575. For more information on Interlochen's current COVID-19 policies, please see our website.

How will new information be communicated?

All alumni who are registered for Reunion Weekend will receive an email with schedule updates, as needed. Additionally, a pre-arrival email will also be sent to registrants the week of the reunion.  If you feel you are not receiving the information via email or have questions about which email address is on file, please contact us at engagement@interlochen.org.

What if I have other questions?

Please contact us! If you have any additional questions, please call 231.276.7630 or email us at engagement@interlochen.org.
