For junior musical theatre major Luna Cheng, traveling from China to Interlochen meant stepping into the unknown—and discovering a stronger, more confident performer along the way.
She flew almost two thousand miles to attend high school in the US. From making new friends to starting a salsa band, here’s how this junior acting major is thriving at Interlochen Arts Academy.
After studying voice at Arts Camp in the 70s, Donnelly turned her focus to launching her teaching career and raising her children. Now, she’s exploring creative writing as a “second career”—a journey that has brought her joy, renewed her creativity, and stoked her ambitions to publish a book.
