Balancing intensive arts training with robust academics can be challenging. We'll assist you with academic scheduling and preparation, as well as navigating the college selection and application process. Together, we'll discuss your general education and preparedness, artistic goals and aspirations, and help you to choose your path and plan for next steps.

School Counseling & Mental Health
School counselors advocate for your mental wellbeing and can help you navigate some of the emotional complexities you may face in your daily life. You can access psychological and mental health support through on-campus professionals. Access to longer term therapy support is available our the telecounseling partnership with HelloHero or through one the local Traverse City area therapists we partner with. For students in immediate crisis, 24/7 support is available through our partnership with Ulliance by calling 800-448-8326.
All students are assigned to an advisory led by a faculty or staff advisor who serves as a mentor and provides a weekly gathering to share and reflect through individual, small group, and community-wide experiences. This relationship gives you the time and space to receive guidance and support, without pressure.
