Visit Grant
Visiting Interlochen Arts Academy is one of the most meaningful ways for young artists to imagine their future here. It’s a chance for them to observe the power of an education designed for young artists, meet the faculty who will champion their growth, and feel the creative energy that defines daily life at Interlochen.
To support families in taking this important step, we are pleased to introduce the Interlochen Campus Visit Grant—a renewable tuition grant for students who complete an official campus visit and enroll at Interlochen Arts Academy.

This grant is renewable every year a student remains enrolled at Interlochen Arts Academy and will be automatically included in their financial aid package upon re-enrollment.
How to Earn the Campus Visit Grant
- Complete an official, in-person campus visit. Attend a scheduled campus visit or an admission event hosted on campus by the Office of Admission.
- Submit your completed application within two weeks of your visit. Your personalized Visit Grant Deadline is two weeks after your visit date. Families are encouraged to apply before visiting, but applications submitted within two weeks of the visit will remain eligible.
- Be admitted to Interlochen Arts Academy and enroll for the coming school year.
Once admitted, the Visit Grant will appear in your financial aid package under Financial Aid Program Funding and will be applied directly to tuition.
Eligibility Timeline
- Fall enrollment: Complete an official campus visit between September 1 and May 1 preceding the academic year of enrollment.
- Spring (mid-year) enrollment: Complete an official campus visit between September 1 and December 1 prior to the mid-year entry term.
Only official, in-person visits and on-campus admission events qualify as an official, grant-eligible Interlochen visit.
