Getting Here

Our address is 4000 J Maddy Parkway, Interlochen, MI 49643. We highly recommend that you arrive early to avoid traffic congestion and allow ample time for parking and walking to the venue.

Construction on US-31 will cause detours, delays, and new traffic patterns this summer. Please plan accordingly.

Parking

General parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking lots open one hour before the venue doors open—please refer to the "Know Before You Go" email for specific times for the performance you are attending.

Accessible parking is available throughout campus on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bag Policy

All bags brought into the Interlochen Bowl are subject to inspection. Guests bringing portable lawn chairs in carrying bags may be asked to remove the chair so the bag can be inspected for prohibited items. Once the inspection is complete, guests are welcome to return the chair to its carrying bag.

Prohibited Items

Michigan law prohibits any weapons, including concealed weapons and knives of any size, on Interlochen property.

Interlochen prohibits alcohol, drugs, and smoking—including e-cigarettes, vape pens, marijuana, and illegal drugs—on Interlochen property.

Rain Policy

Summer precipitation usually moves quickly through northwest Michigan; as a result, we will never cancel an Interlochen performance due to weather before the scheduled start time.

Events will proceed rain or shine. Refunds are not available due to light or moderate rain. If the venue cancels an event because of severe weather or other conditions that pose a safety risk, ticket holders will receive a full refund.

Outdoor Venue

The Interlochen Bowl is an outdoor venue with no overhead cover. We encourage you to dress for the weather and bring any items you may need to ensure your comfort.

The Performance Experience

From our scenic venues to our vibrant community of artists, the concert experience at Interlochen is truly one-of-a-kind.

Explore Our Campus

Have extra time before the show begins? We encourage you to enjoy the natural beauty and unique ambiance of our campus. Our main campus features acres of mature forests, stunning views of Green Lake, dozens of sculptures and public art pieces, and hundreds of buildings—from historic fieldstone structures to state-of-the-art facilities that have won notable architecture awards.

Immersion in nature is a key component of the educational experience at Interlochen: It’s not uncommon to hear a pianist practicing or see a visual artist working en plein air as you walk through our campus. Download Campus Map

Educational Campus

Interlochen is first and foremost an educational institution. As you enjoy your time here, please remember that you are in the presence of young students. We kindly ask that you do not approach, photograph, or engage with them.
