Getting Here

Our address is 4000 J Maddy Parkway, Interlochen, MI 49643. We highly recommend that you arrive early to avoid traffic congestion and allow ample time for parking and walking to the venue.

Construction on US-31 will cause detours, delays, and new traffic patterns this summer. Please plan accordingly.

Please note that Interlochen Shakespeare Festival performances may take place on the same evening as other Interlochen Arts Festival performances in Kresge or Corson Auditoriums. Greater traffic and parking congestion are expected on these evenings, so please plan accordingly.

Parking

General parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking lots S, T, and U are closest to Upton-Morley Pavilion. Additional parking is available north of Corson Auditorium. Please note that parking next to the venue is not permitted.

Accessible parking is available throughout campus on a first-come, first-served basis. See the Campus Map to locate accessible parking closest to the venue.

Prohibited Items

Michigan law prohibits any weapons, including concealed weapons and knives of any size, on Interlochen property.

Interlochen prohibits alcohol, drugs, and smoking—including e-cigarettes, vape pens, marijuana, and illegal drugs—on Interlochen property.

Rain Policy

Summer precipitation usually moves quickly through northwest Michigan; as a result, we will never cancel an Interlochen performance due to weather before the scheduled start time.

In the event of rain, every effort will be made to complete the performance. If the performance is canceled due to inclement weather before intermission, a full refund will be issued. If the performance is cancelled after intermission, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. Gift certificates are non-expiring and may be redeemed for any performance.

Outdoor Venue

Upton-Morley Pavilion is an outdoor venue with no overhead cover. We encourage you to dress for the weather and bring any items you may need to ensure your comfort.
