About Cathy

Cathy Dodge Miller works closely with current and prospective donors who are interested in targeting their philanthropic giving to have the most significant impact on Interlochen now and into the future. She talks with donors about options including unrestricted annual giving, named annual scholarships, endowed giving such as scholarships, support of special Interlochen initiatives, and planned giving.

While she develops relationships with donors throughout the country and internationally, her primary geographic territories are the greater New York metropolitan area, New England, Southern California, and Nevada.

Miller joined Interlochen in 2015 after serving as the Senior Director of Development at the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has more than 20 years of experience in leading fundraising programs for public university colleges, not-for-profit organizations, and political operations.

As a pianist, silversmith, and watercolorist, Miller’s passion for the arts and professional expertise have coalesced with the opportunity to work with donors and help the next generation of young artists at Interlochen.
