About Izzy

Izzy Cooper is the Director of Leadership Giving for IPR. In her role, she cultivates meaningful relationships with leadership donors to ensure IPR continues providing exceptional news, music, and cultural programming to northern Michigan and beyond.

Prior to joining IPR, Cooper served as Program Coordinator at Inland Seas Education Association (ISEA) where she built partnerships across the Great Lakes region and coordinated hands-on environmental education programs for schools and community groups. As a key member of ISEA’s fund development team, she helped raise more than $750,000 in grant funding and contributed to the creation and launch of an $11.1 million capital campaign.

Earlier in her career, Cooper was the Director of Operations for a residential summer camp in northern Michigan, overseeing staff development, operations, and camper recruitment.

Throughout her career, Cooper has been driven by a deep commitment to authentic connection and listening to others' stories and understanding what inspires them to support mission-driven work. She is thrilled to continue fostering those relationships at IPR.
