Interlochen's Vision 2028
Our vision has made a fundamental shift in focus from developing the “place” of Interlochen to permanently endowing our “people” and “programs.” Interlochen’s future depends on continued investment in the caliber of the Interlochen experience while creating unprecedented access to students of all backgrounds. A Place for Everything
In 2021, Interlochen marked the successful completion of a 30-year campus master plan. Seventeen major projects and nearly $90 million in support created an artistic center for every discipline with facilities that rival those at the collegiate and professional levels. Read more.

Director Michael Arden and scenic designer Dane Laffrey earned individual accolades as ‘Maybe Happy Ending’ led all productions with six Tony Awards—including the award for Best New Musical.

From 3D printers to building custom AIs for her students, Davey is constantly innovating in the Arts Academy classroom. An early love of math has developed into her lifelong passion—and a unique gift for making math understandable and fun for artistic students.

We sat down with Arts Camp alumna and film director Sierra Falconer, as well as fellow Interlochen alumnus and actor Jim Kaplan (“The Holdovers”), to reflect on the film’s making, lakeside inspiration, and big themes.
