Flute Methods 2

Refine your tone quality through the practice of harmonics, pitch control, and breath support.

Building upon the foundation provided in Flute Methods 1, this four-week course will delve deeper into articulation and how to master major, minor, chromatic, and whole-tone scales, as well as major, minor, diminished, and augmented chord arpeggios in all twelve keys. The course teaches you how to improve intonation, in addition to exploring some of the more nuanced aspects of performance, including note endings, trill technique, and intonation tips for playing in ensembles.

You'll also develop your creative voice through improvisation, learning the basics of chord tone theory, guide tones, and chord changes to inform and enable your creativity. This course provides you with a structured approach to enhance your musicality and technical proficiency.
