Interlochen to partner with Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and University Musical Society to celebrate Interlochen’s centennial

Acclaimed pianist Lang Lang and visionary conductor Cristian Măcelaru, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Interlochen Center for the Arts' World Youth Symphony Orchestra, will join Interlochen Arts Academy students from all seven artistic disciplines—creative writing, dance, film & new media, interdisciplinary arts, music, theatre, and visual arts—for a vibrant multidisciplinary performance featuring a world premiere new work from Clarice Assad centered on the theme of world friendship.
