Witness María Irene Fornés’ Obie Award-winning fantasia of song and dance as the Interlochen Arts Academy Theatre Division performs Promenade. Two escaped convicts navigate an unnamed city, pursued by a dim-witted police officer. Along the way, the duo encounter a diverse cast of the city’s citizens, including a disgruntled maid, a trio of vapid socialites, a distracted soldier, and the city’s mayor. Don’t miss a rarely performed production hailed by The New York TImes as “bizarre and sneakily thrilling” and “a joy from start to finish.”
