At Interlochen, you'll collaborate closely with our film and animation faculty members—accomplished professionals who have shown their work at festivals around the world. They will guide you, offering mentorship and valuable feedback as you refine your skills.

As a student at our arts boarding school, you will:

• Develop proficiency in the elements of cinematic technique, from screenwriting to sound and from producing to post-production and editing
• Develop and perfect your filmmaking skills, mastering the intricacies of visual storytelling
• Create animations from original concept through design to the final production at our boarding school for animation
• Discover the confidence to share your work with the world through regular opportunities to showcase your work, including an annual on-campus film festival
• Experience the opportunity to learn from highly-qualified guest artists and industry professionals
• Study in the state-of-the-art DeRoy Center for Film Studies facility
• Prepare for successful entry into competitive film and animation programs at the collegiate level
