High School Musical Theatre Production to perform Ragtime for Camp 2023

Based on E.L. Doctorow’s 1975 novel of the same name, Ragtime follows three different social groups—an upper-class white family, a group of Black Harlem residents, and Eastern European immigrants—as they navigate life in turn-of-the-century New York. Other Camp 2023 productions include The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Alice and the Jabberwocky, and As You Like It.

I first came here when I was 11 years old, and I immediately fell in love. Interlochen prepares you for life in the arts, but it also prepares you for all the kinds of life and social skills you need. I've learned how to go after what I want. I've learned how to take initiative. I've learned how to be fierce, how to be strong. I've learned how to form my own opinions. I've also learned how to be a good person.
