About Maddie
Originally from Fresno, California, Maddie Allen (she, her) is a multi-hyphenate musical theatre artist currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a proud alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy, and a graduate of Syracuse University’s B.F.A. Musical Theatre program and the Globe Theatre’s Advanced Acting Program in London.
Since moving to New York, her favorite project so far was originating the role of Alphea in a new musical, The Golden Cage, written by GRAMMY-nominated composer Deborah Henson-Conant. The Golden Cage made its Off-Broadway debut at Theatre Row, and has now been adapted from stage to screen.
Most recently, Allen performed all around the world, singing different styles of music ranging from classical to musical theatre to pop/rock as a Lead Vocalist with AIDA Cruise Lines. Additionally, Allen has worked as a Choreographer: In Harmony (NYC Fringe Festival) and as an Associate Choreographer/ Director to Joyce Chittick on Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Interlochen Arts Camp).
