Video Production Fundamentals 3
Learn to plan, shoot, and edit more advanced video projects using multi-camera setups, more sophisticated lighting, and strong storytelling techniques.
In this four-week course, you'll deepen your understanding of camera technology, giving you the know-how to get the most out of any device. You’ll learn to control light with greater intention, using concepts like the inverse square law and lux measurements to create professional, visually compelling shots.
Through guided exercises, you'll explore multi-camera production, including camera placement, editing, and color matching, in order to prepare you for larger-scale projects or collaborative client work. You’ll also discover how to use pre-production and editing tools to craft videos with clear structure and emotional resonance.
Whether you're shooting a music video, interview, or narrative short, this course will help you work more efficiently and creatively. You'll gain confidence in making lighting decisions from scratch, planning shoot logistics, and editing with rhythm and precision. By experimenting with gear, formats, and software tools, you'll hone a production style that’s both effective and uniquely your own.
