Taught by a world-class faculty of actors, singers, dancers, and educators, the Musical Theatre Studies certificate program offers a unique opportunity to deepen your craft, earn a valuable credential, and receive college credit, high school credit, or both. This program is designed for both adults and teens and consists of three four-week courses that can be taken in any order.

Musical Theatre: Movement Techniques

✔	Apply techniques that improve your movement abilities in general and musical movement abilities specifically
✔	Use exercise routines to enhance your movement ability
✔	Explore iconic performances in which actors have used physicality and movement to portray their characters
✔	Apply research, observation, and an understanding of your own physicality to make choices about who you are portraying and how they move through space
✔	Perform a scene, song, or monologue using the techniques covered in the course in preparation for your next audition

Vocal Techniques 1

✔	Identify the anatomy and related functions of the vocal apparatus and employ strategies for maximizing vocal health
✔	Identify your voice type, select appropriate repertoire, and explore genres that align with your vocal strengths and interests
✔	Develop focused practice sessions, including efficient warm-up and warm-down routines, and create a consistent practice schedule to optimize your vocal progress
✔	Leverage tools for overcoming performance anxiety and strategies for handling mistakes during performances
