Classical Voice Summer Program for Grades 6-8

Why Take Voice

The voice. No other instrument has had a greater impact on humanity. If you're a passionate young singer, this program is designed for you. Join fellow singers from across the globe as you develop your voice through solo, small ensemble, and large choral experiences.

What You'll Learn

Our robust curriculum is designed to address your vocal talents holistically. The program curriculum includes:

  • Voice Class: Engage in the study of classical voice techniques in a group setting, including International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) diction, body alignment, and master classes.
  • Develop your musicianship and music literacy through the study of music theory and solfeggio in singer skills courses.
  • Prepare and perform a short piece in our operetta workshop.

When you're not in class, you will have numerous opportunities to enjoy student, faculty, and renowned guest artist presentations in a variety of art forms.

I feel so lucky to be working with such life-changing mentors and to be surrounded by such talented peers who share the same passion as I do. The whole environment is inspiring here because everyone here appreciates the arts and are working hard at their talents. I have only been here a week, and I have already learned so much about technique and voice skills.
