Enjoy an evening of instrumental music and support the Friends of Interlochen Public Library. Dr. Matthew Schlomer leads the Interlochen Arts Academy Wind Symphony in a diverse program of works including Michael Gandolfi’s “Vientos y Tangos,” Chen Yi’s “Dragon Rhyme,” Melinda Wagner’s “Scamp,” and Zhou Tian’s “Petals of Fire.” Interlochen Arts Academy Instructor of Piano TJ Lymenstull joins the ensemble as the guest soloist for Olivier Messiaen's “Oiseaux Exotique.” Proceeds from this performance benefit the Friends of Interlochen Public Library.
