"The Prom"

Interlochen's Musical Theatre Company brings Broadway's hit musical The Prom to the stage in a joyful celebration of acceptance, authenticity, and the power of community. When four self-absorbed Broadway stars descend on a small Indiana town to champion a high school student who wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, their well-intentioned publicity stunt becomes something far more meaningful.

Filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, show-stopping musical numbers, dazzling choreography, and heartfelt performances, The Prom explores what happens when people choose empathy over fear and courage over conformity. By turns hilarious, uplifting, and deeply moving, this Tony Award-nominated musical reminds us that everyone deserves the chance to celebrate life's biggest moments exactly as they are.
