Marvel at the wonder and magic of the holiday season as the Interlochen Arts Academy Dance Division performs Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet The Nutcracker. The timeless story of Clara, her enchanted Nutcracker, and their journey through the Land of Sweets comes alive in a spellbinding production featuring breathtaking scenic design, intricate hand-crafted costumes, awe-inspiring special effects, original choreography by Director of Dance Joseph Morrissey, and live music. Don’t miss an enduring holiday tradition that will entrance audiences of all ages.

Magical Holiday Tea Party
December 13 & 14, 12:30 P.M.

Before the matinee performances, you are invited to share in the magic with Elsa, Anna, and their Frozen friends for a Magical Holiday Tea Party—a sparkling pre-show celebration before The Nutcracker.

Step into a world of frosted fun as children sip festive punch, enjoy sweet treats, make holiday crafts, sing along to carols, and share warm hugs and smiles with their favorite friends from Frozen.

It’s a heartwarming way to celebrate the season and fill your family’s Nutcracker tradition with a little extra winter magic.

The celebration takes place inside the Music Center building, right next to Corson Auditorium, before the matinee performances of The Nutcracker on December 13 and 14. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A ticket is required for entry. All attendees, including parents and guardians, must have a ticket.
