Join Interlochen Public Radio for Kids Commute Live! Conductor Matthew Schlomer and Kids Commute host Kate Botello lead this multi-sensory matinee featuring the Interlochen Arts Academy Wind Symphony, Interlochen theatre and singer-songwriter students, TCAPS middle school musicians, and special guests from NASA, the Coast Guard, plus Mary Stewart Adams from IPR's Storyteller's Night Sky and Ephemeris host Bob Moler.

The program will include Gustav Holst’s “Jupiter,” Michael Mogenson’s “Aerial Fantasy,” John Williams’ “Fantasy of Flight,” and more!

Free pre-concert activities start at 12 p.m. Come early to see a Coast Guard helicopter land and take off on Opera Field! Also, build basic robotics kits, play parachute games, see drone demonstrations, and more! Space-themed food will be available for purchase.
