Experience one of the most influential tragedies ever written as the Interlochen Arts Academy Theatre Division performs William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Following the death of his father, Prince Hamlet despairs over his mother’s hasty remarriage to his uncle, Claudius, and Claudius’s subsequent seizure of the throne. In the midst of his grief, Hamlet receives a visit from the ghost of his father—who claims he was murdered by Claudius and commands Hamlet to avenge him. But can the ghost be trusted? And is it truly Hamlet’s place to exact revenge? Don’t miss a dark and dramatic tale about the impossibility of certainty, the complexity of our actions, and the mystery of death.
