A dynamic performer and passionate advocate for new music, Snyder has appeared in Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and international stages from England to Korea.

Her performances blend technical brilliance with emotional depth, featuring works from her acclaimed recording projects Women’s Works for Solo Viola and Women’s Work for Viola: Sounds of Discovery, both celebrating contemporary voices and women composers.

A Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor and frequent festival artist, Snyder continues to inspire audiences through her expressive performances and dedication to expanding the viola’s voice.
