An Evening with Megan Rivkin

Engage with bold new work and live discussion in an evening featuring playwright and librettist Megan Rivkin, presented by the Interlochen Arts Academy Creative Writing Division. Megan’s writing explores sexuality, illness and the body, technology, and the ethics of deception—through dark comedy. Her plays have been performed in New York at 222 Speakeasy, The Gin Mill, and the Samuel French Short Play Festival, as well as at Fringe festivals and theaters across the country. In addition to teaching, Rivkin is spending her year at Interlochen developing new musicals and a solo show. As Interlochen’s Writer-in-Residence, she invites you to an evening of performance, discussion, and conversation about humor, discomfort, and the versions of ourselves we put onstage.
