New: Interlochen Online to offer music and arts programs for adults.

School Counseling Services & Mental Health

Students attending school away from home may experience stress and pressures that may interfere with their wellbeing and learning. Interlochen offers psychological and mental health support for students through on-campus professionals as well as virtual and off-campus partnerships.

In addition to our on-campus School Counselors, we have a partnership with telecounseling service HelloHERO and local Traverse City providers for students looking for longer term treatment from providers who are not associated with Interlochen. Learn more at Counseling Services: Off-Campus Providers & Telecounseling. Arts Academy students also have free access to 24/7 support through the Ulliance Student Life Advisor Program by calling a consultant or accessing the Student Life Advisor Well-Being Portal.

Our licensed School Counselors are eager to meet with you and help identify stresses, and to work with you to establish healthy mental attitudes to facilitate growth and wellbeing.

For questions about class schedules or college counseling, please see your Academic and College Counselor.
