About KuanTing
Dr. KuanTing Chang is a highly respected educator, performer, and mentor. She is committed to introducing the Dalcroze approach into public schools, aiming to enrich the educational experiences of future generations. As a certified Dalcroze instructor, Chang infuses her passion for movement-based, experiential learning into every classroom, creating student-centered and dynamic environments that foster creativity, engagement, and exploration. A former educator at an International Baccalaureate® (IB) school in Florida, she brings a global perspective and a well-rounded pedagogical approach to her work. Her holistic and versatile teaching style is rooted in inclusivity, encouraging students to connect more deeply with music while developing their full artistic potential.
In addition to her distinguished teaching career, Chang is an accomplished French horn performer with a rich background in orchestral and chamber music. She has performed with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, Sioux City Symphony Orchestra, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Palm Beach Brass Quintet, and Palm Beach Winds. This integration of high-level artistry and pedagogical expertise positions Chang as a valuable leader in music education. She inspires students of all levels to pursue both excellence and joy in music.
