Joan Raeburn Holland

Instructor of Harp, Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp


B.M., Cleveland Institute of Music. Harp student and assistant of Alice Chalifoux.

In addition to teaching at the Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp, Joan Raeburn Holland is the Associate Professor of Harp at the University of Michigan.

Holland is currently principal harpist of Midland Symphony Orchestra, Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra and co-principal of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra. Her former positions include principal harpist appointments with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra and Cleveland Ballet Orchestra.

In recital, Holland performs solo and chamber concerts, including performances at the American Harp Society regional and national conventions. Her concerto experience includes performances with the Midland Symphony, Lexington Bach Festival, West Shore Symphony Orchestra, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, University of Akron Chamber Orchestra, Interlochen Arts Academy String Orchestra, and Traverse Symphony Orchestra.
