Jeannette Pomeroy
About Jeannette
Jeannette Pomeroy is a professional artist and art instructor who resides in Fishers, Indiana. Pomeroy is a graduate of Kalamazoo College, and will be teaching for her eighth summer at Interlochen Arts Camp. Pomeroy founded ArtStart, Inc., a not-for-profit arts education organization. Pomeroy is a prolific oil painter and has traveled extensively to many locales in Europe to hone her craft. Most recently, Pomeroy was awarded the 2020 Nickel Plate Arts Educator of the Year. Pomeroy loves chocolate, cats, and visiting her two daughters in Chicago.
Art is as subjective as each person is an individual. I encourage my students to strive for maximum creativity by exploring who they are at that moment in time.
