About Hanna

Hanna Charrette has worked in the Admission Office at Interlochen Center for the Arts since the start of 2022. Charrette works primarily with Interlochen Arts Camp applicants in the Junior and Intermediate divisions, specifically music and theatre students. She also works closely with organizations who partner with Interlochen to bring their students to Camp and Academy.

Prior to Interlochen, Charrette worked as the Manager of Operations and AmeriCorps Program Director for Teach For America Idaho after teaching Middle and High School Earth & Space Science and Geology. Charrette also spent two years after college as an AmeriCorps member in Knoxville, Tennessee working in sustainability and environmental education. While science has been Charrette's passion for education, she is a musician, playing clarinet and piano, and helped start a student enterprise in college to bring back the art of weaving.

Originally from Acworth, Georgia, Charrette has lived throughout the country in Tennessee, Idaho, and now calls northern Michigan home.
