About Emily

Emily Duncan Wilson is a sound designer, producer, musician, and educator originally from New Hampshire, currently living in Vermont. 

Wilson started at Interlochen in 2015 as a cabin counselor in the Intermediate Lakeside division, returning to Interlochen in 2020 as a member of Interlochen Arts Academy's Residence Life team. She served as an instructor of residence life and senior instructor of residence life from 2020-2022. She has also worked in Camp Life as the Assistant Director of Intermediate Meadows (2021) and Director of Intermediate Meadows (2022). 

She continues to work for Interlochen Public Radio as the producer of Classical Sprouts, the "awesome classical music podcast for kids," and Kid's Commute, a weekly radio show broadcast on Classical IPR, both hosted by Kate Botello. 

As a theatrical sound designer, she has designed and assisted regionally at such theatres as Yale Repertory Theatre, Seattle Rep, McCarter Theatre, the Public Theatre, and Round House Theatre. She has also designed productions for Interlochen Arts Academy and Arts Camp, including The Winter's Tale, Dracula, As You Like It, and Julius Caesar

Wilson holds a master's degree from the Yale School of Drama and a bachelor's degree from Smith College.
