Becca Laurito is a Philadelphia-based percussionist who performs regularly with the Philadelphia Orchestra and has appeared with renowned ensembles including the San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, San Diego Symphony, and Kansas City Symphony. Previously, Laurito served as Principal Percussionist of the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra in Honolulu from 2017–2024. In addition to her performance career, Becca teaches workshops and courses that explore how rhythm, vibration, and sound can support nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and healing. She teaches wellness practitioners to play gongs and singing bowls for meditative and therapeutic use— bridging her classical training with yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices. A native of Chicago, Laurito holds degrees from Northwestern University, DePaul University, and Temple University.
