Starr Parodi (IAA 76-77) recently completed the score for a television series for HBO max produced by Michael B. Jordan called gen:LOCK. Parodi—along with her daughter, Isolde Fair (IAC 14-16)—was also an artist/composer on the album Women Warriors: The Voices of Change, which was recently nominated for a Grammy Award. The piece that Parodi contributed to the album previously received the Hollywood Music in Media (HMMA) award for Best Classical Composition.

Mark Dittmar (IAC/NMC 80-89, IAC St 90-93) was the sound producer for Annie Live!, which aired on NBC on Dec. 2. He has been the sound producer for all the network’s seasonal musicals starting with The Sound of Music (2013) and has also won three Emmy Awards for his work.

Clarence Penn (AS 83-84, IAC/NMC 85, IAA 85-86) is a member of the jazz trio Unison, which won the 2021 Juno Award for Jazz Album of the Year: Group for their recent release, The reMission.

Kathleen (Hoffman) Staten (IAC/NMC 87-93, IAA 92-93) joined the staff of West Music as the Manager of Music ConstructED, a new platform that supports music educators’ professional growth and development through a collaborative community of teachers.

Christopher Wallinger (IAA 01-02) portrays tennis legend John McEnroe in the new biopic about Venus and Serena Williams, King Richard.

Alexandra Lakind (IAC 02-03, IAA 03-06) co-edited the recently released book becoming—Feral, which features over 80 contributors from across the globe. This collection of poetry, visual art, essays, and more explores the complex relationships between humans and other-animals through the shifting categories of wild, feral, and domestic.

Alexandra Osten (IAC 03-07) was selected to the Forbes '30 Under 30' list for marketing and advertising. Osten currently is the Head of Advertising Channel Partnerships at Sprinklr, a customer experience management platform based in New York City.

Shea Renne (IAC 08) joined the national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Hadestown as one of the three Fates.
