Orchestra and Wind Symphony: Reflections

Experience two of Interlochen Arts Academy’s finest instrumental ensembles in one performance! Under the direction of Dr. Leslie Dunner and Dr. Matthew Schlomer respectively, the Arts Academy Orchestra and Wind Symphony will perform a diverse program of classical and contemporary works. Repertoire for the evening will include Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber, J.S. Bach's Fantasia in G, and Adolphus Hailstork’s “American Guernica.” Guest soloist Renee Skerik will join the Wind Symphony for a performance of James Syler’s “Love Among the Ruins.”
