Continuing the musical celebration launched by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s July 18 performance, this extraordinary evening brings together rising young artists and world-class professionals in a thrilling display of collaboration and artistry.
The program opens with Michael Abels’ Emerge, a bold and cinematic work filled with rhythmic energy, vivid colors, and striking emotion. The evening culminates in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, one of classical music’s most beloved masterpieces, journeying from darkness to triumph through soaring melodies, passionate intensity, and unforgettable grandeur.
