Experience the artistry of Interlochen Arts Academy's exceptional musicians in a program spanning spirited European dance, sweeping symphonic writing, and evocative 20th-century works.
Under the direction of Leslie B. Dunner, the orchestra performs Johann Strauss II's lively Eljen a Magyar Polka and Antonín Dvořák's beloved Symphony No. 9 in E minor Op. 95. Ara Sarkissian leads performances of Respighi's lyrical Siciliana from Ancient Airs and Dances and Elliott Carter's poignant Elegy.
This performance showcases the remarkable musicianship, creativity, and dedication of the artists of Interlochen Arts Academy.
