99th Annual "Les Préludes": A Beloved Interlochen Tradition

Celebrate one of Interlochen Arts Camp’s most cherished traditions with the 99th annual performance of Les Préludes, conducted by Steven D. Davis. For nearly a century, this moving end-of-summer ritual has marked the close of the Camp season with artistry, pride, and unforgettable emotion. Students from all three of Interlochen’s high school instrumental ensembles, the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, Interlochen Philharmonic, and World Youth Wind Symphony, join forces with the Interlochen Summer Dance Ensemble for a stirring multidisciplinary presentation of Franz Liszt’s iconic tone poem Les Préludes. A powerful tribute to achievement, growth, and the bonds formed through a summer of creativity.
