Acrylic Painting (Online)
Why Take Acrylic Painting
This four week online acrylic painting course is designed to explore color and shaping through the use of expressive brush strokes and color splashes.
Learn more about varying your range of color usage and mixing colors using acrylic paint. Several color studies will be produced using a single bowl as the subject of study. Emphasis on foreground and background, warm and cool colors, complementary, analogous, and other focused color combinations will be explored. Large brush strokes will be used while learning to shape a single image to learn more about composing a painting. This workshop will promote expressive mark-making techniques and will not dwell on total realism. Participants will engage in the making of color charts for reference.
