Repertory Theatre Production Summer Program for High School Students
Why Take Repertory Theatre Production
Are you ready to immerse yourself in theatre? Our repertory theatre production program is a chance for serious young actors to work with world-class faculty to fine-tune their skills, connect with other artists, and plan for a future in the performing arts.
What You'll Learn
In this pre-professional training program, you'll take courses to further develop your acting and performance skills. You'll also perform in a play from classical or contemporary repertoire, with full design and technical support in Interlochen's state-of-the-art Harvey Theatre.
To prepare for the production, students participate in the following:
- Production rehearsal
- Acting technique class
- Classes in voice and movement
Meet the Faculty
Our summer faculty is here to help you grow as an actor and prepare you to succeed for a life in the theatre. The theatre faculty have established careers in theatre and theatre education, and are equally passionate about both.
Life is about being bold and being yourself completely. It's scary to let yourself be vulnerable and uncomfortable, but I've embraced that here—and it's helping me grow.
