Interlochen alumni named recipients of Solti Award
Four Interlochen alumni have received the 2022 Career Assistance Award.

The Solti Foundation U.S. has selected 18 young conductors to be recipients of the 2022 Career Assistance Awards, including four Interlochen alumni: Kevin Fitzgerald (IAA 07-09, AS 07), Keitaro Harada (IAA 02-04, IAC 03), William Garfield Walker (IAA 09-10), and Farkhad Kudyev (IAA 01-04, IAC 01).
The Solti Foundation U.S. is the foremost organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to helping young American conductors. The foundation awards multiple grants annually, including the Career Assistance Award. Winners of this award have received substantial grants and door-opening introductions to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Kevin Fitzgerald was previously recognized with this award in 2020, and Farkhad Kudyev received it in 2018. Keitaro Harada is a six-time recipient.
