About Stephen

Stephen Seifert has been playing the mountain dulcimer for 25 years. In that time, he's taught and performed at over 500 festivals and visited at least as many dulcimer clubs; toured and recorded with the late, great David Schnaufer; and performed Schnaufer's�� Blackberry Winter - a concerto for string orchestra and dulcimer - many times all over the country. He's authored a bunch of books, videos, and CDs; teaches online via DulcimerSchool.com, and loves teaching beginner through advanced students, performing, and jamming.
