About Sarah

Sarah Lyle Padilla is a violist from Harrisonburg, Virginia. This past year she worked with the Harrisonburg City School Strings after-school violin program. Padilla recently completed her D.M.A. through the University of Memphis where she studied with Lenny Schranze. She has an M.M. from the University of Memphis and a B.M. from West Virginia University, where she studied with Andrea Priester Houde and Maggie Snyder. Padilla has spent previous summers studying at Brevard Music Center, Endless Mountain Music Festival, Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Renova Music Festival, Killington Music Festival, Castleman Quartet Program, and Pittsburgh Advanced Chamber Music Seminar. She is excited to be at Interlochen this summer.
