About Ryder

Ryder Corey is an accomplished woodwind instrumentalist and dedicated educator located in the Worcester area. Presently, he serves as an esteemed instructor, imparting his extensive musical knowledge through band, piano, and guitar classes at South High Community School in Worcester, Massachusetts.

In addition to his role in education, Corey is an active performer, lending his musical talents to various ensembles. Noteworthy among these are his contributions to Funktapuss, a dynamic funk and soul group, the Cape Cod Symphony, the South Coast Brass Band—a New Orleans-style brass ensemble—and the Sultans of Swing, a prominent wedding and event band.

Corey's commitment to musical excellence is evident in his diverse repertoire and engagements with reputable musical groups. Beyond his musical pursuits, he engages in physical fitness activities including lifting weights or enjoying a game of disc golf.
