Ricky Oliver
About Ricky
Ricky Oliver is the Coordinator of the Actor Training area within the The Hartt School Theatre Division at the University of Hartford. He is also an alum of the school with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. He holds his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Brown University/Trinity Rep. Program.
Some of his acting credits include Ragtime at the Astoria Performing Arts Center, where he was nominated for NYIT Award for his work as "Younger Brother." He also originated the role of "Fleet "in the international tour of Titanic, and was first replacement for "Older Patrick" in the national tour of Mame. He’s performed in Into the Woods, 1776, A Little Night Music, and Hair to name a few. He has taught within training programs around the U.S. at Brown University, CAP21, DeSales University, Education Unlimited, and Molloy College.
