Orion Jaime

About Orion

Orion Jaime is the junior ceramics instructor for Arts Camp (2026). Jaime is a Rhode Island School of Design Alumnus (2025), graduating with a BFA in Fine Arts. Jaime is a ceramic and illustrative artist from Phoenix, Arizona. Jaime spends much of her time in natural spaces, where she sketches and observes botanical inspirations.

“My creations emerge from personal studies of Arizona’s botanical forms and expansive landscapes. I delight in making pottery that is both useful and visually playful. As for sculptures, I aspire to create pieces that transcend the fascinating nature of the desert and venture into the realm of biological fantasy.”

I create a prepared environment to foster creative, hands-on experiences with clay. I encourage a playful attitude and following the students' interests and curiosities. I strive for meaningful and joyful connections to learning and exploration.
