About Natalie

Actor • Educator • Life Coach • Creative Catalyst

Natalie Blalock is a dynamic theatre artist and certified life coach whose work inspires students to step into both creative and personal spotlight. A seasoned performer, her standout credits include The Scarlet Pimpernel on Broadway, the charming Miss Trixie Delight in Paper Moon at Ford’s Theatre, and her solo show Ladies and Gentlemen, Natalie Blalock at Joe’s Pub (The Public Theatre, New York City). Known for her fierce humanity, she’s also portrayed memorable characters such as Ursula in The Little Mermaid, Miss Hannigan in Annie, and Mama Rose in Gypsy.

At Interlochen Center for the Arts, Blalock creates inclusive, high‑energy classrooms where students explore emotional truth, take bold risks, and build confidence through performance. Her hybrid approach blends traditional acting techniques with coaching tools designed to foster presence, curiosity, and connection. Whether through private coaching, group workshops, or audition prep, Blalock empowers young artists and professionals to find their voices—and trust them.

I believe that growth as an artist—and a human—comes from being willing to get uncomfortable. Discomfort is the currency of your dreams, and I encourage my students to lean into that edge with curiosity, courage, and compassion. That’s where transformation lives.
