About Matt
Matt Salvo currently holds a full-time position at Viterbo University as a music director, vocal coach, and accompanist. This is his fifth year involved with Interlochen Arts Camp in some capacity.
Before Viterbo, he freelanced as a professional music director and pit musician in Chicago. He also has played with the band Flibbertijibbet since 2015, one of his most enjoyable artistic outlets.
I encourage my students to look beyond the notes and words to see the intent behind them, and allow that to guide their choices as an actor and a musician.
