About Kevin

Hailing from Singapore, Kevin Loh is one of the leading classical guitarists of his generation, captivating audiences worldwide.

Loh’s international acclaim has led to multiple invitations from renowned orchestras and international guitar festivals in London, Hong Kong, and Calcutta amongst others. He has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including London’s Wigmore Hall, the Berlin Konzerthaus, and Tokyo’s Suntory Hall.

Loh has also garnered numerous accolades, including 2nd prize at the prestigious 2023 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, arguably the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world.

Loh is also passionate about giving back to society through music education and raising funds for various charities in Singapore and across the region.

Having studied at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School and the University of Cambridge in Britain, Loh recently earned both his Master of Music and Graduate Certificate in Classical Guitar Performance as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Peck School of the Arts, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with Prof. René Izquierdo. Building upon his exceptional experience there, he has now transitioned into a faculty role as a Lecturer in Classical Guitar at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Loh will begin his Doctor of Musical Arts in Classical Guitar Performance at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music in Fall 2026.
