About Joi Danielle

Joi Danielle Price is a passionate and supportive instructor who teaches acting and vocal performance at Molloy University/CAP21, Marymount Manhattan College, and at the Professional Performing Arts School through Rosie’s Theater Kids. At Interlochen, Price looks forward to helping students build strong acting foundations, foster joyful creativity, and discover their own artistic voice.

As a writer, Price develops exciting and innovative new works for musical theatre, including The Raven Project, which explores the life and legacy of pioneering ballerina Raven Wilkinson through a dance-driven theatrical lens. She is also a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.

Price is an actor who appeared in Mamma Mia! on Broadway and on the national tours of Ragtime and Mamma Mia!, and has performed on regional stages across the country in plays and musicals including Tiny Beautiful Things (Sugar), A Merry Little Christmas Carol, and numerous readings and workshops of plays in early stages of development.

I believe great acting begins with curiosity and courage. When students are given space to experiment, make mistakes, and play, they discover a deeper connection to their own artistic voice and creative freedom.
