Grace Jackson
About Grace
Grace Jackson enjoys a career as a performer, liturgical musician, teacher, and advocate for the arts. She is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Michigan, where she studies organ and sacred music. Her research focuses on trauma-informed pedagogy in private organ instruction. Jackson is also the founder and creator of The People’s Work, a platform for sharing repertoire and resources among fellow musicians dedicated to the practice of sacred music.
In August 2026, she will begin her appointment as Assistant Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. For the 2025-2026 academic year, Jackson held the Gerre Hancock Fellowship with the Association of Anglican Musicians, where she served at The Church of St. John the Divine in Houston, TX.
Her teaching experience includes assistantships in the Department of Musicology at the University of Michigan and at the University of Notre Dame as an assisting organist and conductor for the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Jackson serves as the carillon contributing editor for The Diapason and holds a Certificate in Trauma Studies from Wheaton College.
